Welcome to GJAB.org, the home of the Green Jobs Advisory Board of Southwest PA.  Since 2008, the Green Jobs Advisory Board of Southwest PA, or GJAB, has been bringing together stakeholders to build the green jobs movement in this area. We have worked to effectively create pipelines to green jobs and align green job pathway opportunities in the Pittsburgh region, with an emphasis on historically disadvantaged populations.  GJAB is much more than just one organization with one goal.  We represent organizations ranging from businesses, non-profits, colleges, community based organizations, and government.

GJAB consisted of over 40 organizations who meet every six weeks to share information, hear relevant speakers from different sectors, and help coordinate programs to ensure maximum impact.  With this website, we want to make many of the resources GJAB encounters available to the public.  This includes a comprehensive calendar of relevant events, features of our member organizations, and resources about green jobs.
